| First edge layer = red paper with semicircles cut out to look like bites; second layer = thin row of white paper cut with a fancy scissors (can't remember specifics at the moment, but I would have used Deckle if I'd had it at the time I made this one); Third layer = green paper, on which I drew thick lines with a dark green marker to look like a rind. Pictures cut into "slices" and matted with green paper "rind." I used a tear drop shape from a McDonalds happy meal ruler to draw black watermelon seeds on the red paper. |
