| I got the inspiration for this layout from the Nov/Dec '98 issue of Along the Way magazine. I used a combination of punches and paper piecing to make the nativity scene. The faces are cirle punches, the arms are rectangles, the hands and feet are ovals, and the angel's halo is an oval with the center cut out. I hand drew patterns for the rest of the pieces using the pictures in Along the Way and some clip art I printed out as a guide. I used the banner template (provo-craft I think) to make the banner and scattered tiny stars around it. The big star at the top was traced from a template and I accented it with triangle punches. This was a very time consuming layout, but I love the way it turned out. |
