| This is a heritage layout of my husband's grandparents. I used mauve cardstock for the base page. I used a acid free scrapbooking paper that looks like homemade paper, burgundy and mauve card stock for the mats and a burgundy zig marker for captions. I also used a corner punch to make the border of 'paper lace' look. If you take out the side plastic guards on a corner punch you can punch along a straight line edge like this. I used that technique again as a single punch at the top of the photo to make the mat peak with another corner punch. I put pieces of burgundy card stock behind the cut outs on the picture. This is a formal treatment for a wonderful older couple! |
