Journalling reads:
In fall of 1997, the colors of the leaves in Dayton, Ohio were so vibrant that I had to capture them on film.
The most amazing were the fire-red leaves of the bushes like the one in the lower right corner of this page. I hunted long & hard to find one shaped nicely enough to show as an example, and came across this one by chance one day as I was running errands.
I'm so glad that I got these pictures, because the following year, the El Niņo effect altered the weather so that the fall leaves did not get to be nearly as colorful before falling from the trees, and we moved from Ohio late that fall. |
