You probably can't see it well here, but there is a thin strip of Thai unryu (white with gold threads) along the top and bottom. It has a torn edge which gives it a nice snowy look. I made mock photo corners in white and outlined them with a gold pen. The title and date are from a computer font (sorry I don't know which one--something "brush") and I cut them out of paper with a craft knife.
For our first Christmas together we gave each other matching pencil boxes that say "This is not a chocolate but a pencilcase, so don't have a mind to eat this." I took a close-up of DH's pencil box just for the layout. |
