Background Paper: Cut up 4 different colors of cardstock in quarters - trying to achieve a "quilted" look to resemble the blanket in the picture's background.
Placed Swirled White Vellum over the cardstock to soften the look of the cardstock.
Then, mounted, double mounted and even triple mounted - with the Star White Vellum a 3rd layer - again going for the soft look.
Title: Scallped Punch in various colors with vellum over - why? Yup, for the soft look.

This has certainly turned out to be one of my very favorite layouts! It's ALMOST not so bad that I use to be a horrible picture-taker! (I'm actually lucky my daughter made it into the picture!) |
