| This is the only picture I've ever seen of my dad's maternal grandmother (my great grandmother). It is actually a scan of a small hand painted picture. It was probably done before 1910. Since it is so special, I really wanted to do something unusual with the picture, so I tried memory folding -- I really like the results, but it would be a little too "fussy" for my style, if I tried to do it all the time. i think the doilies really accentuate the picture though. |
