Notes
This is my first posted layout and only the second layout I've completed. I'm trying to do an album which will incorporate journaling, pictures, and family recipes. I used Hollyhock cardstock and gingham and pink parchment cardstock all from CTMH. I laid everything out in the computer and then printed individual items per color scheme. I used CK's Kidprint for the journaling (sorry the scan isn't clear; lost detail in changing resolution) and the Word Art feature of MS Word for the titles. I also used a coluzzle for the Pepperwood (also CTMH) ovals in the titles. I drew the ovals on the CTMH Colonial White with the drawing tool in MS Word, then chalked them for an antique effect. (Oops, I forgot to mention that the Juliette Grits sack is courtesy of my brother and daddy. Rusty scanned, reduced, and e-mailed me an old sack, from the days when the mill in Juliette was operational, that Daddy has in his antique collection.)
