Notes
I finished this page today. I really like it. Sadly, with my scanner, the bottom 1/2 inch or so got cut off, so it looks like my pictures are falling off the page, but they aren't.

These pictures are 6 months old. I took them just a few days before my 40th b-day in June. I knew at some point I wanted to do a page about turning 40.

Thanks for looking! OH and sorry you PC'ers see my pages so dark. I've been told my pages come through dark on a PC ... because I have a mac.

Here's the journalling:

What is it about turning forty? It feels like a death sentence. People refer to you as Ma'am, and cards joke about being over the hill. I was no exception to those feelings. I was ready to wake up and feel terribly old and ruined. But when it happened, I didn't blink an eye. This isn't so bad, I thought! What's wrong with being "here"? I don't feel any older than I did yesterday. I like being so settled. I love being married and comfortable. I remember at 20 I thought I'd be dead by 40 because "oh my God, that was old". I'm not dead! I'm alive, Baby! Look out!
