| This page shows photos from ds's trip to Japan: practicing calligraphy with sixth graders, drawing in art class, helping to plant the "Friendship Tree", and playing with the kendama. The gum wrapper was from a Japanese chewing gum pack. As a background I used two favorite Japanese colors black and red. I cut the fan and tassel free-hand and edged with Fiskars Peaks scissors. Gold Callipen to enhance the tassel. Edges of the photos are journaled with gold pen. |
