Here is a layout with my son and his chess trophies. This is not a topic you see much although lots of kids play chess through their local school and community tournaments. I used HOTP pearlescent paper for the brownish background, metallic papers for the blue trophy and double gold and silver picture mats. The mats were corner trimmed with a punch to mirror the chess piece tops. The dry embossed lines on the blue metallic paper chess piece were done with a stylus and a straight line edge. Journaling was done with computer in a font called Black Magic to echo the medieval feeling and roots of chess.Trophy ribbon sticker was from Stickamopotamus and gold stars punches with small star punch.
