| Page 1: From her school play. Background was made by tearing paper and masking using a stamp pad directly onto the paper. The blue part is stippled with blue ink then the white stars are sponged over it. Letter template was Pebbles block letters. "Dream" is cut out of Paper Patch paper. "American" was cut out of white paper and then I didn't like the solid white so I used a ruler and marker to draw stripes. Instead of cuttign out the centers of the letters, I used Mrs. G star stickers. Primitive stars were die cuts. I know you probably won't be able to read the journalling so I have to include this here. The silhouette and page above her head is her American dream. Sierra wrote: "My dream is to be a Christian. I will tell people that Jesus is good to us. If people know about Jesus it will help them have better happy lives." We were so proud and my ma cried. |
