The poem is from d'Marie Poem Place "Love ever gives; Forgive - outlives And ever stands with open hands And while it lives, it gives For this is love's prerogative, To give and give and give" This poem went so well with the photo and will hopefully serve to remind me that during the challenging parts of parenthood, these babies just need us to love them and they will 'forgive' our shortcomings as we learn as parents and grow from mistakes and further give their love back to us over and over again. |
