|DH and I spent just over four months doing some mural painting for Bruno's Fine Foods, an Italian restaurant in beautiful downtown St. John's, Newfoundland. It was primarily my project but DH helped a lot, especially when he wasn't busy teaching.
These are some pages that I put together for Bruno and his wife Gail (it's a surprise!). I'm going to do some in 12x12 for our own album also. The torn strip down the side is daphne natural lightweight from Daniel Smith (I used the wet and tear method). The titles were done by hand with a Zig calligraphy pen. The journaling is in Pentel milky white, gone over twice (which makes it show up much better).
The paintbrush on this page was my own design (yeah, I meant it to be crooked! It, uh, adds to the rustic charm! Yeah!)
