Hi! Here is another layout I just completed - it is very frustrating to try to stitch 12 x 12's together, because you just cannot see how pretty the layout is unless you view it in person. Now I know what I want for my birthday - a 12 x 12 scanner! LOL!
The journaling is done on white cardstock, and mounted underneath the white vellum for softness. I used fibers from www.fibersbytheyard.com, and attached the journaling box with eyelets. The words "love" and "free" are hand-cut from cardstock using "Scriptina" font.
The title is: If you love something, set it free
Anyhow, I have attached a digital picture of the layout, so you can get an idea of how it looks, as the dscan turned out really cruddy. Here is what the journaling says:
Travis brought over a turtle for you that he had found, because it is your favorite animal, but rather than keep it in a cage, you chose to set it free. It was a tough decision for you to make, but you knew it was the right thing to do. What unconditional love! 2002
