this was a teacher's valentine's day gift. Took about an hour to make.
bought a composition journal and covered it front and back with pattern paper, trimmed with xacto knife around edges. I also covered the inside covers with white cardstock and made a ribbon closure on the side. the blank on the binder is the way the journal comes.
I used Mod Podge to glue on the pattern paper. Just a note, it did cause the paper to wrinkle so I just acted like I wanted it that way. really looks good with the wrinkles, but that was an accident. I then put the Mod Podge on the entire outside covers to give it a protective coating.
