What a Feelin'!

I am new to scrapbooking (3 months now!) and am loving every minute of it! I'm a stay-at-home mom and we just moved into a new neighborhood 6 months ago. When after a few months, I still didn't know anyone, I decided to go to a "scrapbooking workshop" that someone had mentioned to me. It's been an awesome experience! I now have 6 new friends all from my street and the street next to mine and we get together one Saturday evening a month from 7 pm to midnight for "scrappin' and socializin'"!

Scrapbooking has made the photo albums in my house much more popular than they had been. For years they didn't much more than collect dust but now that the pages are so much more colorful and interesting, they're pulled out at least once a week! And by journaling, my family and friends can relive the memories whenever they feel the urge and I don't have to push my frazzled mind into overdrive trying to recall the details for them years down the road.

Scrapbooking also gives me the chance to unwind at the end of a hectic day with my two munchkins. After a full day of doing mundane tasks, I can unwind and just let all the pent up creative juices flow! And now that I've found dMarie with their amazing selection and prices (and low shipping!), I look forward to making some really splashy pages and really impressing my family and friends!
