Why I love Scrapbooking..

I love Scapbooking because it gives me the excuse to spend a getaway weekend with my best friend. No kids, no husbands, no interuptions, just me, her and our incredible collection of supplies. We both love to shop and so we always have the lastest new gadget. But what I really love most is the memories that we share while we scrapbook together.

Our kids are almost exactly the same age and it's so much fun to relive all the times together. It gives us a chance to share the everyday moments of our lives with each other too. We live 2 and a half hours away, and although we do see each other often, it's not everyday, every week, or even every month.

And, sometimes we just need down time from all the stress in our lives. No one listens quite like a best friend. Before we both became scrapbook junkies, we sometimes did projects together but never really had one that we both just loved to do.

Scrapbooking is it! Every six months we take off for three days to relish in our passion. And the next trip is this weekend! Oh the expectaions we had for the first trip. But since then, we have learned that it is not the number of pages you complete, but the number of memories you relive.
