Scrapbooking has opened a whole new world to me!

When I first connected to the Internet in 1997 I had no idea I was about to meet someone who would change my life! I stumbled into a chat room where a lovely lady from Connecticut asked me if I had ever heard of scrapbooking. Well of course I hadn't and after she had directed me to some online websites I was hooked then and there.

The next step was trying to source products in Australia. No luck! I had to wait another year before the first CM Consultant started in Australia. Within the next 2 years the stores and CMC's multiplied like rabbits and a scrapbooking industry was born.

Scrapbooking has enabled me to relive the history of my family, while documenting my life so that it will be passed on to my family for generations to come. And that is one of the main things I love about it.
Thanks to dMarie I have been able to make friends all over the world, who are more than willing to share their experience and layout ideas and thanks to them, my layouts seem to evolve and improve with every year.

I still have a long way to go before catching up with my photos but I feel it is such an important thing for my family that I will keep on plugging away at it. And if you keep taking photos, do you ever really catch up anyway?
