Scrapbooking is my heritage
By:Ann P.
Scrapbooking has changed the way I see life, my past, my present and my family's future. With the loss of both of my parents within the last 4 years, it's become increasingly important to leave a legacy for my children. They need to know how things were when their grandparents were alive, how it was when I grew up and how good they have it now.
My 15 yr old has been scrapbooking with me since 1997 and has more albums complete than I do. But I know that the books I do will be left for them, probably to her as the family historian. I know that my great-grandchildren will know 4-5 generations back and what was important to each of us.
Without scrapbooking this is not possible. I believe in simple, elegant books that tell the story. I admire those that do the elaborate, but it's not my style. I don't ever want to lose my love of this very important part of my life.
