Scrapbooking: A way of Life!

By:By Deborah, Victoria, TX

I first learned about scrapbooking three years ago when my daughter was just a few months old. I began by 'hording' supplies...always too scared to actually put the page together for fear that I might mess it up. I began with a few of my husbands old pictures and...voila! I created a scrapbooking monster!

I was so pleased with the results of his pages, that I immediately dropped finishing his book and went on to my daughters. I started with her first pictures and kept 'trying' to catch up. Needless to say, I am still far behind!

I look forward to the day when I can 'finish' her books, but for now, I will take the time to do what I can and spend time with her. Besides, it's just as much fun to make the memories as it is to put them in a scrapbook. There will be enough time to finish those scrapbooks when she has left the house.

My poor husband is very supportive and takes great pride in showing off my work. He has stopped in many cities and taken me on 'wild goose chases' to find that perfect little scrapbooking item that I can't live without.

For them, that's what scrapbooking is all about!
