Scrapbooking Has Changed My Life

By:Kelly C

Scrapbooking gives me such a sense of accomplishment. I quit my position as a Marketing Manager to stay home with my two sons after our family moved to Gainesville, GA for my husband to take a new job.

After about 8 months of being a "stay-at-home" mom I questioned whether or not this was for me. I tried play groups and made a real effort to get out of the house at least once a day, but I was still missing something. And that something was a sense of accomplishment.

One of my old college roommates introduced me to scrapbooking through Creative Memories and I've been hooked ever since! I can't believe how much it has changed things for me. That was only 4 months ago and I've completed two family albums and I'm now working on my youngest son's baby album. I average between 5 and 10 pages a week and I just can't get enough.

I love being able to use my creativity, that I once used in the workplace, to preserve my family's memories. I don't have a bunch of my own childhood memories and even fewer pictures, so I feel I am truly capturing my children's childhoods. We have already spent numerous hours as a family looking at the completed albums and now my husband is asking when I can start one for his sports memorabilia!
