The Most Beautiful Face I've Ever Seen
By:Melissa Price
Approximately ten months ago I experienced one of the most life changing events a person can have; I gave birth to my first child. As I starred down at the most beautiful face I had ever seen, I wondered how I could capture this moment and save it forever. The answer was simple, create a scrapbook of my baby Matthew. I knew it had to be filled with love; something so special that years from now I could look back and appreciate this time of his life all over again. So many people have told me "it goes so quickly, enjoy every moment". I have tried to remember this as I go through my days as well as in my scrapbooking. I believe it is so important to preserve our lives in some form, be it through pictures, writing, or video. I want Matthew to be able to look back on his childhood memories and see the happiness and love reflected in the pictures of family and friends. I want his children and generations after him to know him through my pictures and stories. I also realize that in 60 years when I am an old women these days will be a very distant memory and I want to be able to look back and be 30 again with my 10 month old son. Pictures can do that, if only for a moment.
