Scrapbooking.....an obsession

In November 1999, I was invited to a Creative Memories class that changed my life. The class introduced me to the wonderful art of scrapbooking. I have been addicted ever since!

It is hard to believe how much my obsession had grown. I now dream about layouts. When I dress my daughter in the morning, I think about the photo opportunities we are going to have and wonder is this the right oufit? Do these colors work with the layout I am envisioning? Yes, I am obsessed.

The class also spurred me to learn to take beautiful pictures not just snapshots. I am rarely seen without my camera. You never know when a priceless moment will arise. My daughter now tells me, "I am cute. Take my picture."

Scrapbooking has also taught me to cherish everyday moments like my daughters laugh, her smile, and the twinkle in her eye when she sees her Daddy. This quote says it best "To the world you might be just one person but to one person you might be the world." My daughter is my world and long after I am gone, there will be a record of her life. She will know how much I loved and cherished her.
