Accomplishment

By:Melisa M.

As a stay at home mom, I find great satisfaction in creating scrapbooks. When I work on my albums I know that I am making something that will last and become a family treasure. Unlike cooking, cleaning, laundry, diaper changing, grocery shopping, etc… scrapbooking creates something that will last. Toddlers have a way of tearing through a clean room like a tornado and household chores never seem to end.

As a mom I won’t see the long term results of my work until my children are grown I take great pride in the results of my scrapping and have the satisfaction of knowing that I have finished a unique work of art that records the special events of my family’s life. Even though I know that what I do as a mom is important, it feels great to finish a project and stand back to look at the results, knowing that it will last for many years!

Scrapbooking is a creative outlet that benefits me and my family. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and I will leave a wonderful record of family memories for future generations to cherish.
