For the love of my family

By:Diane Enarson

Sometimes as I stare at my children and husband when they are unaware, I am overwhelmed by the sheer abundance of love that I feel for them. I often wonder if they will truly know how much they mean to me and then I remember why I started scrapbooking.

Sometimes a picture (or rather a layout) says a million things that one can't always place into words. I hope that as they browse through the pages of the albums that I am perserving for them, they will know that much love and thought was put into each and every page because they mean so much to me.

Scrapbooking has allowed me to perhaps show them how special each and every one of them are and that I hope as they grow older, if they should ever doubt my love for them, they need only to leaf through the pages of their albums to see first hand the love that I have for them.

Scrapbooking has also allowed me not only to document the passing of their youth and perserving those precious memories, but to put into words, my hopes, wishes and dreams for them and to let them know how much they mean to me and I do it because of my love for them.
