Life's Little Moments

By:Leslie K.

Scrapbooking has become important to me in order to preserve the little moments of time I share with my friends and family. Photo albums so frequently show only the big events, the birthdays, the holidays and major changes in one's life. I love scrapbooking because I can "take the time" to show the viewer the sights, sounds, smells and emotions going on in a particular photo or photos. The face my son makes when he squishes finger paint through his fingers is just as important to me as what he wore on the first day of school. Being able to catch the look of pure delight as he takes a bite of a freshly picked strawberry helps to remind whomever is looking at the layout what they might have thought during their very first bite. I've been able to preserve my grandmother's life story for future generations because of scrapbooking. By journaling and using her words, her pictures have come to life unlike sitting in a plain plastic sleeve.

Dmarie has given everyone an opportunity to see all the wonderful products there are on the market. Living in a "depressed" scrapbook area such as I do, it enables me to purchase items that would otherwise be unavailable to me. I have used Dmarie in online scrapbook swaps to relay items I wish to have to other scrapbookers across the United States and I have found a "friend" through Dmarie and promoted this database to several other online friends who have also found "friends" through Dmarie. The layouts and quotes provided are an invaluable tool available for everyone to share.

I love scrapbooking because it enables me to share my life with others and I love Dmarie because in return Dmarie shares tools, supplies and more importantly inspiration with me. Thank you.
