What dMarie Does for Me

I first found dMarie about four or five years ago. I had just had my first baby and "we" would spend lots of time surfing the Internet during the day. One day I decided to look for some layout ideas (though I didn't even use the word "layout" at that time).

At first I would only go to Layout Central. Then I started exploring other parts of the site that I was falling in love with. That's when I found Picture Talk.

I "lurked" for a long time. I wanted to be sure I knew the "lingo" before I ever posted. There were so many terms and abbreviations that I was unfamiliar with.

When I finally posted, I was welcomed with open arms. I am not, nor was I ever, a frequent poster - but anytime I had a question or something to say, I felt like part of the family.

After a move and a long time with no (or really slow) Internet connection, I have lost contact with everyone I once knew here. I have recently regained high-speed Internet and would like to get to know everyone again. So much has changed, but I know I will be welcomed back with those same open arms.
