There's been an email questionaire circulating amongst my family and friends. I'm saving them to use in future layouts. This is the first one I've used.
Black cardstock was dry embossed with a star motif then gold star stickers were added. I tore the left edge and slipped in a strip of red stock to use for the title. Handwritten letters were cut from a pretty gold texture paper with the help of my trusty exacto knife. The journaling was printed onto vellum then I mounted that and the photo onto the same gold texture paper. They are held together using some simple gold chain and eyelets.
The right side is the questionaire. Stars were dry embossed onto red stock then I added gold stars that were punched from the same gold texture paper. The jornaling was printed onto clear, overhead transperancy. I love the look of the clear, shiny paper! I added some photos relating to some of Nancy's answers and topped it all off with 2 sheer metallic gold bows. Her favorite color is red with a little gold thrown in . . . and she loved the layout when it was finished! I like the format and think I'll use it to create the others pages. I'll just change the theme to fit the subject. What fun! |
