How do I make the pictures bigger?

Get closer to the screen! Actually, when you first reach the layouts page, you're looking at a set of top level categories. Click on one of the thumbnail pictures that represents a category to go on to the middle level category.

Then click on a middle level category to get a list of layouts in the final category. Finally, click on the layout you want to see and it will become larger.

For example, click on Holidays, then Christmas to get to the list of Christmas layouts. Then just click on a layout on the Christmas page to view the large version of the layout.

Why is it so hard to read the yellow text below the layout categories?

You're obviously not wearing your secret decoder glasses! Seriously, you're probably using an older America Onlinetm web browser. You see, under Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, the background shows up as black, so the yellow text is very sharp and easy to read.

Try upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) or Netscape Navigator, both of which can be downloaded for free and used with AOL. You might also try upgrading to the latest AOL software to see if that helps.

How do I "GO BACK"?

Use the "BACK" button in your web browser. It's usually located in the upper left corner of the window and has an arrow pointing to the left. If you don't see ANY icons at the top of your browser, you probably have them turned off. Try clicking on Options, Show Toolbar (for Netscape) or View, Toolbar (for Microsoft Internet Explorer.)

How do I get out of Photo Chat?

"Pay no attention to the programmer behind the curtain!!!" We created a link for this very purpose. Click on "Back to dMarie Home Page" just below the chat box.

How can I get my picture in the "Who's Who in Scrapbooking" page?

Send cash in large denominations. Actually, all we need is at least one layout submission from you and your picture. You can write your own biography to go along with it, if you like. We'll give you your own "home away from home" here on the web that will dazzle your friends, stun your neighbors, and confuse your dog!

HELP! I can't see your pages, can't use Photo Chat, can't see any of the headings, or I just feel like upgrading my web browser for the fun of it. What do I do?

Promptly make an appointment with your therapist! Actually, it's probably not you, but just your browser... dMarie.com is optmized for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or above or Netscape 3.0 or above. If you're having trouble with any part of this site, upgrading your web browser might help. It's free, in any case, so what do you have to lose?

We've put some basic instructions here:

What's this ROTFL, LOL, :), stuff? Are you guys from, like, another planet or something?

Welcome to planet Web. Send us to your hyperlinks. These are the hippest Internet Acronyms and Emoticons. Read all about it here or here. And be sure to turn your head sideways for the full effect when reading the emoticons, but try not to hit your head on the desk.

If a tree falls onto a scrapbook in the forest, and there's nobody around to hear it, does it make a sound?

It all depends. Is the tree made of acid-free bark? Are the leaves made of lignin? What's the pH level of the tree? Why are you still reading this? Go back to the home page already!

I'm on America Online and I can't read the page headings or any of the text, and that yellow-on-white text is impossible to read!

We have a page written just for AOL Users. Please read it! According to the AOL support folks (3 of whom replied to my email with completely different solutions) the easiest way for you to start enjoying most (but not necessarily all) of dMarie.com is to go into AOL and type the KEYWORD:

Good luck and happy browsing!
